Chaos and Unity
Children in Hull are working with our team to explore the themes of ‘Chaos and Unity’, and creating collaborative artwork inspired by their interpretation of the theme.
Escape Room Challenge with Bradford 2025
A creative journey into playful design, problem-solving and future careers for young people in Bradford as part of their year as UK City of Culture.
KCOM Digital Club
Inspiring children and families across Hull by introducing them to exciting career paths in the creative and digital sectors, and helping them develop practical digital skills in areas like illustration, animation, and 3D design. Funded through a KCOM Digital Inclusion Grant.
Creative Camp - North Yorkshire Virtual Schools
A programme of creative activities for looked-after young people in Scarborough. The programme aims were to build young people’s motivation to learn through experiencing the value of creativity, how it can be healing, and how it can provide a career trajectory.
Creative Thinkers in the Classroom (Year 1)
An adaptive learning approach designed to support dyslexic children within a whole-class setting. By integrating this programme directly into the classroom, we aim to ensure that children with dyslexia — even those who have not yet been diagnosed, can reach their full potential without needing to be removed from their main classroom for additional support.
Arts Award at Freedom Festival
Freedom Festival invited our Junior Design Factory members to become exclusive Freedom Festival reporters - giving them access to performances, exclusive interview rights and opportunities to talk with the staff running the festival.
Inspiring Futures
These workshops introduced participants to the creative industries, expanding their horizons and career possibilities. Our sessions were held in various locations across the UK, including Liverpool, Blackburn, Newham (East London), and Hull.
Essential Life Skills - Scarborough
Over the course of a year, we collaborated with selected primary school children in Scarborough. They were given three live design briefs for real clients and young participants in Year 6 stepped into the shoes of professional designers, working against tight deadlines to deliver and pitch their creative solutions.
